HOW IT WORKS
Three Simple Steps to your masterpiece
1. The Capture
You rest on a comfortable chin rest and look into our specialized macro lens under low powered studio strobe lighting. Zero contact — just a quick, comfortable session.
2.The ENHANCEMENT
In the digital darkroom we isolate your iris, remove natural reflections, and enhance its colors and texture to reveal its hidden depth.
3. YOUR ARTWORK
Choose how to showcase it — a frameless acrylic block, gallery-wrapped canvas, ChromaLuxe metal, or a high-resolution fine-art print.
Irises, reimagined as art
THE GALLERY
Beyond a stunning photo of your eye, we craft one-of-a-kind compositions
— yin-yang pairs, hearts, and ethereal space scenes.

WHY MIDNIGHT NOON STUDIO?
The most detailed, most carefully finished iris art in the Wilmington area — full stop.
1. Fine-ART RESOLUTION
We shoot on a professional 61MP full-frame body with a top-of-the-line macro lens — generating the kind of resolution that holds up printed 40 inches wide, not just on a phone screen. Other studios use point-and-shoot macro rigs that top out far below that.
2.Hand-Edited In-House
No batch presets, no outsourced retouching. A fine-art photographer edits every image by hand — isolating the iris, removing reflections, and pulling out color and texture your own eye can't see.
3. Gallery Grade Print Options
Fine-art paper, ChromaLuxe metal, gallery-wrapped canvas, or frameless acrylic — produced through the same world-class print labs trusted by museums and top galleries, not a corner print shop.

For the absolute best results and clarity, we recommend removing contact lenses before the session. While clear contacts are completely safe to leave in, the edge of the lens or minor surface dust can sometimes show up under extreme macro magnification. If you wear colored or prescription contacts that cannot be easily removed, just let us know ahead of time.
