What began in his teens with film cameras and darkrooms evolved alongside decades of professional life as a Fortune-500 Chief Information Officer, where precision, discipline, and vision became second nature.

Now, Richard channels that lifetime of artistry and technical mastery into a full-time fine-art practice.

His work blends the patience of a craftsman with an artist’s instinct for atmosphere, honed through years of travel and a deep respect for coastal landscapes, architectural detail, and quiet human moments.

Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, Richard draws inspiration from the meeting of ocean and sky and from the timeless play of light that defines each scene.
